Raised in Hamilton, Grace received early art training with Hortense Gordon,
Jean Wishart and John Sloan. They were three of the finest art instructors
of any period.

Grace moved to Los Angeles and studied Advertising Design and Illustration
at Art Center College of Design (one of North America’s leading art colleges)

She entered the exciting field of advertising and product design in Southern
California - designing marketing materials and products for companies such
Disneyland, Mattel Toys, and Milton Bradley (co-designed Game of Life)
and receiving awards for Packaging and Product Design.

Grace found time to study Fine Arts with various instructors, including classes
and workshops with renowned artist Paul Souza.

Returning to Ontario, Grace’s advertising design company, Falco Design Inc.
served a wide range of clients and received awards for magazine ads,
billboards, transit posters, menus and packaging.

Classes with Gordon Perrier at DVSA and workshops with renowned
watercolourist Charles Reid further developed her Fine Arts.
